Application & Membership
You can apply by visiting our application page and filling out the intake form. We review each application with care and intention, focusing on alignment with our values and community energy.
The process is straightforward:
- Submit your application through our intake form
- We review each application individually
- If you're a good fit, you'll receive an invite
- Once invited, you'll have access to member events and the community
We typically review applications within 1-2 weeks. We take time with each application to ensure we're making the right connections. You'll hear from us either way.
We seek people who value authentic connection, intentional gathering, and holistic wellbeing. There's no single profile-we value diversity in background, interests, and perspective, united by shared values around genuine connection.
Membership itself is free. Some events may have costs associated with venues, food, or experiences, which are shared transparently in event details.
Events
We host curated, intimate gatherings for members. Events range from relaxed social evenings to more intentional experiences. The vibe is always relaxed, intentional, and focused on authentic connection rather than surface-level networking.
Velvet Gate typically runs on a biweekly rhythm. We keep the cadence steady and the room selective rather than treating events like a public calendar.
Expect a relaxed, intentional atmosphere. Gatherings are usually around 30 people, with thoughtful venues and enough intimacy for genuine conversation. The energy is calm, authentic, and focused on connection rather than performance or status.
Guest policies vary by event. Some events are members-only, while others may allow members to invite a guest. Details will be shared in event invitations.

The vibe is relaxed, intentional, and wellness-supportive. We create spaces where you can show up authentically, without masks or performance. Conversations go deep, energies align, and genuine bonds form naturally.

We understand plans change. If you can't attend, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so we can adjust capacity and offer the spot to someone on the waitlist.
